Learn to play Rock Drums
Rock n' Roll is a combination of the Blues, Jazz, Swing, Rhythm & Blues, Country and Gospel originating in the United States in the 1950's emphasizing electric guitars, strong rhythms and youth oriented lyrics. Rock n Roll exploded on the scene with early artists like Elvis, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino and Little Richard. The 1960's saw the British Invasion from the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, then came Led Zeppelin, The Who, & Pink Floyd to name just a few. Rock n Roll has split into numerous forms since it's early days yet continues to maintain its basic structure of combining different styles of music with strong guitars, strong rhythms and beats and a youth emphasis. Rock is not dead, just ask AC/DC - "Rock n roll ain't noise pollution, Rock n Roll ain't gonna die, Rock n Roll it will survive."
